Weight loss
Everyone who has ever tried to lose weight knows that staying motivated is a huge issue - where to find motivation? How to stay motivated? How to keep going when you are feeling down?
To successfully lose weight, you must have to find your motivation source; for some peoples, it's just staying healthy or losing those extra pounds from the belly. When you are overweight, starting to change is not easy. The most important thing is you must keep motivated, even when times get tough! Here are some tips to help you find and maintain your motivation.
Set Realistic Goals: Set your goals and work out a realistic timescale for achieving them. Commit to 100%.
Start Writing: Write down in note pad why you want to lose weight, how many pounds you want to lose, when and how. The more you commit to paper, the better. Carry a notebook around with you and use it to record thoughts and ideas, recipes, quotes - whatever will inspire you and keep you going.
Talk With Like-Minded Friends: Tell a friend or member of the family and ask them to help you stick with your plan.
Little Steps: Break your goals into chunks. Remember that you are losing weight and improving your health, "one day at a time." You can stick at anything for one day!
Say No To Junk Foods, Yes To Healthy Foods: Don't dwell on the junk that you are taking out of your diet. Instead, celebrate the healthy foods that you are putting in.
Sticky Notes: Make bullet points of your main motivational issues and write them on a stack of cards. Place the cards where you will see them regularly - it can be in a mirror, in your purse, in your car.
Positive Affirmations: Repeating positive affirmations are a great way to stay motivated. Create an "Affirmation" to repeat to yourself when times get hard. For example, "Every day I am improving my health, my looks, and my well-being. I am getting stronger in every way."
Keep Notes: Start a file or scrapbook of articles, recipes, and any other interesting books you read.
Plan What Size Of Clothes You Are Going To Buy: Start another file of fashion and wardrobe ideas. Plan what you will need to buy when you shrink a size or two!
Buy A Piggy Bank: and fill it up with a particular sum for every pound you lose. You can use it towards your new outfits!
Make Some Like-Minded Friends: Find someone to share the experience with, and laugh your way through the tough times. Make a friend that will always motivate you in hard times. Better if both are on the same journey.
Read Success Stories: Learn from other peoples who have successfully lost weight and got fit. Join online communities with like-minded peoples, read their stories, spent some of your everyday time communicating with your group.
You will find dozens of motivational videos on youtube, start watching them instead Netflixing. End of the day, motivation is not permanent; someday you feel highly motivated and other days not, but if you don't stop grinding, you will know what to do when you feel down.
Start Exercising: It doesn’t matter if it is for 15 minutes or an hour just start
