Mankind around the globe is in the middle of the novel corona virus tragedy. This turns out to be the biggest emergency for human mankind in several decades (the biggest after WW-II). It looks to be an out of world fight against the invisible enemy. It is like an Alien war, a war against the unknown. There is uncertainty everywhere with no solution in sight.

Industries have been put to pause and human movement has been restricted to only for managing Corona, emergency and the essentials. Governments have tried lock down and urgent medical preparation to tackle the pandemic but at this juncture, it does not seem to be controlled. These restrictions have their own challenges and that too drastic ones. It is a catch 22 situation. While humanity continue to fight this mighty army of enemy, it is also important to understand how it is going to impact our lives in short to medium term. There is an old saying that every adversity is an opportunity too. This too is no exception. This post is an effort to summarise its impact on human behaviour and opportunities it brings for humans and industries.

World after COVID-19

Pandemic COVID-19 which started from the wet market, Wuhan, China. Almost all countries of the world affected by this virus and some of them are in huge crises. The number of infected persons is increasing day by day all over the world. During COVID-19 Pandemic, Developed countries like the United States of America, Italy are looking like powerless and helpless. Their entire health system collapsed. These are those countries that call them a superpower. Now they are struggling to save the lives of their citizens and demanding help from other countries.

Now, have a look at our adorable country INDIA. India has very few cases and deaths as a comparison to population density and cases in other countries of the world. Almost every country in the world admiring India for the actions taken by us to control the pandemic. India implemented lockdown in the whole country before the situation goes to worst. India not only saves its citizens but also saves many lives of other country citizens. India exports HCQ tablets to almost 55 countries and showed a great example of mankind to the world during this pandemic.

As we all know incidents are part of life. But some of them changed us. We changed and we are like as we were never before. Any such incident also happens in your life that changed you. Such incidents also happened in the world that changed the world like World war-2, 2008 economic crises, etc. This pandemic is also such a very big incident. This incident will change the lives of many peoples in the world. That change may be at a different level like Country level, International level, Society level, or maybe at the Economic level.

Country-level: India is the country of festivals. India is famous worldwide for its crowded places, unhygienic places, and brotherhood. From religious places to public transport, from shopping markets to street corner everything in India is overcrowded. But is this pandemic can change Indian people’s lifestyles. Indian citizens are still shopping in crowded places for vegetables and also at liquor shops. In history, pandemics changed the habit of people all over the world but this will happen in India also. This is still a question.

International level: Nowadays is the era of globalisation. You can buy anything from anywhere in the world. Is this trend will keep on going like now? China is known as the world’s factory and exports 26% of the goods of the total world exports alone. But during this pandemic, 45% population of the world is in lockdown. Due to which sales and manufacturing of most of the companies are down. Almost all countries of the world are satisfying there needs on their own. Because no country is in the position of doing business. Citizens are also preferring their home country products. Is this change will end the era of globalisation?

Society level: Our incredible India is known for his brotherhood in the world. India is the country that demonstrates the world real meaning of Humanity, family, and life. Now the question arises, Is India will be same after COVID-19? Is India keep its image in the world? India is the biggest democratic country in the world. One part of India is rich who is capable of maintaining social distancing. Maybe rich peoples will give India a new name or a new image. The second part of India is poor. This part of India doesn’t have much facilities and resources. Maybe they start living as they were like before COVID-19.

Economic level: Many countries in the world that are not financially strong. Citizens of these countries like physical currency to use. Physical currency is also a mode of spread of this pandemic. Is this pandemic will shift currency transactions from physical mode to digital mode? This change will be very exciting to see, what happens next?

It’s very difficult to predict the future. Nobody can tell, In how many ways this pandemic will change the world. But surely, the world will change. But how much? This is still a mystery for the world’s Intellectuals.
